Week 2, Thing #3 Blogging!!

What fun! Who knew it could be so easy? So many things to think about...discussing books, alerting students to new materials, giving shout-outs to certain classes for a great class session....the possibilities are endless. I can't wait to experiment on my school webpage. And I have to admit that creating my avatar took more time than it really should have....it was like playing with Colorforms all over again! The more things change, the more they stay the same?

Week 1, Thing #2 7 1/2 Habits

The easiest habit for me is Habit 2, Accept Responsibility for Your Own Learning. I can do that rather nicely. However, Habit 4, Have Confidence in Yourself as a Competent Effective Learner? That's my downfall and always has been. I find I often need constant reassurances that I am doing things correctly -- I have difficulty trusting my own judgement. I'm working on it!!!!!

Week 1, Thing #1 Introduction

This looks like fun, and exactly what I need to to ratchet things up a notch. Now maybe I'll even be able to converse intelligently with my own kids!!
